Ruth Elaine Cavins Provenzano

Our loved one, Ruth Elaine Cavins Provenzano went to be with the Lord January 25, 2001. She was born in DuQuoin November 29, 1933, the daughter of George and Gladys Cavins. She married Manny Provenzano November 26, 1955 and he survives.
Elaine accepted Christ as her Savior when she was a teenager and has been a devoted follower, committed to doing his work. She was a very active member of the First United Methodist Church at her home in Powder Springs, Georgia where services were held Sunday, January 28, 2001.
In addition to her husband Manny, she is survived by a son, Dale and wife Ellen; three daughters, Lyn and husband Frank, Ruth Ann and husband David and June and husband Grant; grandchildren, Danny, Jenifer, Jessica, Laine, Tyler, Blake, Zack, Emma, Breann, Ashley and Ben; one brother, Bruce Cavins; two sisters, Georgia Zabel and Lillian Newman and many other relatives and friends.
Elaine loved Jesus, always praising His Holy Name and so very devoted to her family and friends, always there to help with so much love and understanding.
She had a special love for a childrens program at her church, called Angels Nest, that she oversaw for 12 years.
She was a very unselfish, joyful person, always friendly with a big smile, even when in pain and knew and stressed that laughter was a very important element in everyones life so she wrote and practiced the following:
You know that laughter is needed in your life
Your endorphins system depends on it, thats right
So when you get a real big hoot-
	The medicine kit turns loose-
And sends all those little pac man on their way-
So lets all Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha!
Jesus said in St. John 14:2 In my house there are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go there to prepare a place for you.
We find peace in knowing, He is saying to Elaine Well done, thou good and faithful servant.
We all love you so much Elaine.
